GHOSTBUSTERS (2016) - Light-Up V-3 Style Proton Pack - A light-up V-3 style proton pack from Paul Feig's supernatural comedy Ghostbusters. A new team of paranormal investigators (as played by Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon) wore the final iteration of their specially-created backpacks, which gave them the ability to contain and catch ghosts. 'V-3' was the production name for this model of pack, with the 'V-2' being the earlier backpack-style and the 'V-1' presumably the non-backpack 'proton box' first built by the Ghostbusters in the film.

This proton pack consists of a metal backing frame affixed with adjustable gray and orange nylon straps and a series of decorative details. These details include a metal-mesh dome-like feature over a series of coils; metal and nylon cables and wiring; several metal circuitry plates; a pressure gauge; several control boxes featuring levers and knobs; and a black plastic box with decorative studs. Attached to the pack via a series of cables is the pack's plastic and rubber "wand", which affixes to the pack via magnets.

Activating a pair of battery-operated switches on the pack will cause the coiled cables, as well as several of the control boxes, to illuminate. The battery-operated wand also features several lights and an illuminating barrel which can be activated via a switch and trigger on its body and grip. Also included in the lot are two sizes of illuminating SFX barrel tips that affix to the wand and produce red light. It exhibits signs of wear throughout from age and use. Dimensions: 34" x 21" x 7" (86.5 cm x 53.75 cm x 17.75 cm)

Contains electronic components; see notice in the Buyer's Guide.

Estimate: $10,000 - 20,000
