SUPERMAN II (1980) - Daily Planet ''White House Surrenders'' Newspaper

A "White House Surrenders" Daily Planet newspaper from Richard Lester's superhero sequel Superman II. News of the President's (E.G. Marshall) surrender was displayed on a newsstand opposite the Daily Planet offices as Superman (Christopher Reeve), his powers restored, arrived to fight General Zod (Terence Stamp) and his Kryptonian cohorts.

The newspaper's cover page is black and white and features images of a pensive President and a stern General Zod. To give the appearance of a full copy of the Daily Planet, the cover is wrapped around several pages of an October 1979 edition of the Windsor, Slough and Eton Express, a newspaper local to Pinewood Studios, where the film was shot. The newspaper exhibits some minor scuff marks and discolouration. Dimensions (folded): 31 cm x 43 cm x 0.5 cm (12" x 17" x 1/4")

Estimate: GBP 1000 - 2000 M
