A "Lex Luthor's Scheme 'Bombs' Superman Saves Nation" Daily Planet newspaper and "Twin Nuclear Missiles Test Confirmed" cover page from Richard Donner's superhero film Superman. Otis (Ned Beatty) bought a newspaper with the headline "Twin Nuclear Missiles Test Confirmed" and showed it to Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman).

This lot consists of a cover page with the "Nuclear Missile" headline, and a newspaper with the headline "Lex Luthor's Scheme 'Bombs' Superman Saves Nation". The "Bombs" cover is wrapped around several pages of a May 1977 edition of the Herald Tribune. The newspapers have some discolouration and sun-bleaching. Dimensions (folded): 31.5 cm x 43 cm (12 1/2" x 17")
