STAR WARS: REVENGE OF THE SITH (2005) - Pair of Production-made Duelling Lightsaber Blades

Two duelling lightsaber blades from the production of George Lucas' Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Jedi used their signature lightsabers to duel throughout the film, including when Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) battled on the planet Mustafar.

Production created lightsaber blades for fight scenes, then digitally overlaid them with VFX to create their signature glowing effect. These rigid carbon-fibre blades are covered with bright red and green tape and wrapped with clear plastic. Both come attached to a custom-made foam display painted to resemble the lava-like surface of Mustafar, applied with a screen-printed still of Anakin and Obi-Wan mid-fight, and labelled "Tom Spina Designs" on the reverse. The blades exhibit scuffing and the foam exhibits cracking on the reverse. Dimensions: (displayed) 63.5 cm x 82.5 cm x 17.75 cm (25" x 32.5" x 7")
