SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS (2011) - Set of Three Madame Simza (Noomi Rapace) SFX Knives

A set of Madame Simza's (Noomi Rapace) special effects knives from Guy Ritchie's detective adventure Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Madame Simza threw her knives at a Cossack, after Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) warned her he'd try to kill her.

Each knife is made of rubber cast around a metal armature, with a silver-painted blade and a green-and-red-painted handle. A metal bolt screw is attached at the end of each blade, in place of the knife's tip. SFX knives would have been fastened into the assassin's wood-lined coat, to create the illusion that they had penetrated it. The knives exhibit intentional distressing to appear aged, as well as additional paint wear and scuffs from production use, while one of the bolt ends is missing. Dimensions (each): 26.5 cm x 4 cm x 2 cm (10 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 3/4")
