William Henry Harrison / Born at Berkley, Virginia, Feby. 9, 1773 / Inaugurated President of the United States March 14, 1841 / Died April 4th, 1841, Aged 68 Years, 1 Mo. 26 days / This melancholy occasion, solemnized at New York / April 10, 1841.' Engravings include a fire 'truck' and a portrait of Harrison beneath a heraldic eagle carrying a banner titled, 'Our Nation Mourns a Hero Gone.' This version features a lengthy obituary and biography of Harrison on the reverse. Cream colored ribbon has only light soiling, and irregular trim at top, printing runs to extreme right edge, otherwise excellent.
