TOTAL RECALL (1990) - Stuart Ziff Collection: Kuato's (Marshall Bell) Vacuum-Formed Face - Kuato's (Marshall Bell) vacuum-formed face from Paul Verhoeven's sci-fi action film Total Recall. Douglas Quaid (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and Melina (Rachel Ticotin) were introduced to Kuato, the mutant leader of the Martian resistance.

This lot comes from the collection of Bottin Effects Crew member Stuart Ziff. It consists of a white plastic vacuum-formed pull with an infant-esque face design for the conjoined mutant carried by George and an additional foam latex segment. The latex exhibits notable residue, fragility, and cracking along the edges. Dimensions: 7" x 5" x 4" (18 cm x 12.75 cm x 10.25 cm)

This lot comes from the collection of effects pioneer Stuart Ziff. Upon moving to Edlund's Entertainment Effects Group (later renamed Boss Film Studios) in 1983, Ziff headed the 50-person "Ghost Shop" responsible for the groundbreaking demonic special effects in Ivan Reitman's comedy classic Ghostbusters. Numerous ghosts and spectral phenomena created for the picture, including the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man's costume, immediately landed in the American pop culture lexicon, where they've remained for nearly four decades. Propstore is proud to offer never-beforeseen production materials from Stuart Ziff's pioneering work on Ghostbusters, alongside other one-of-a-kind memorabilia from his 40-plus-year career as a Hollywood pioneer.
