MOON (2009) - Screen-matched GERTY Robotic Arm

A screen-matched GERTY robotic arm from Duncan Jones' sci-fi thriller Moon. Sam Bell's (Sam Rockwell) robot companion, GERTY, consisted of a mobile console with independent robotic arms that ran along a ceiling track, allowing it to perform various tasks on Bell's lunar mission. This arm matches the one seen on screen through its intentional dirt marks and grime.

The arm is constructed from hollow plastic with faux access panels and two points of articulation. It is hand-painted white and grey, with dirt and grime intentionally applied to make it appear well used. Decals are applied to both sides of the upper casing, bearing a "LUNAR INDUSTRIES, INC." logo, the words "3000 Robotic Assist", and the model number "554-FD 1", respectively. The plastic exhibits some loose panelling and chipping around the claw from production use. Dimensions: 76 cm x 28.5 cm x 119 cm (30" x 11 1/4" x 47")
