Includes a January 25, 1873 autographed letter on “Forty-second congress U.S. / House of Representatives,” letterhead, signed by “Chas. G. John”; February 15, 1873 Navy Department printed letter, signed by “Geo. M. Robeson”; June 4, 1873 “Executive Mansion” stationery manuscript letter signed by “OE Babcock”; December 21, 1874 “Bureau of Engraving & Printing” stationery manuscript letter, signed by “Geo. B. M. Carter”; September 12, 1876 “Headquarters Army of the United States” stationery, autograph letter signed, “Jos. C. Audenreid”; and an August 22, 1876 print letter from Hamilton Fish, Department of State, Washington, D.C. Each with minor wear, toning or foxing.
