MARRIED... WITH CHILDREN (1987-1997) - Al Bundy's (Ed O'Neil) Costume

Al Bundy's (Ed O'Neil) costume and remote control from the series Married. . .With Children. Bundy wore his costume in numerous episodes throughout the series, including the Season 10 episode "The Weaker Sex" where Bundy despondently read a newspaper story about a fight his wife Peggy (Katey Sagal) had to handle for him.

This lot consists of a beige polyester-cotton Derby jacket (size XL 46-48); a purple plaid Eagleson's long-sleeve button down shirt; brown wool Levi Action Slacks trousers; black leather shoes; a red leather Cole Haan belt; and a black plastic Zenith remote control with an adhesive strip on the back. The remote control is a replica. This costume comes mounted to a custom-posed mannequin attached to a beige carpet square in Bundy's iconic pose of his hand in the waistband of his trousers. This lot exhibits notable loss of adhesion on the belt, chipping material on the mannequin, and sticky residue on the mannequin's free hand.
