THE MAN WHO WOULD BE KING (1975) - Peachy Carnehan's (Michael Caine) Screen-matched Cream Jacket

Peachy Carnehan's (Michael Caine) screen-matched cream jacket from John Huston's adventure film The Man Who Would Be King. Carnahan wore the jacket during the movie's early scenes, while interacting with Rudyard Kipling (Christopher Plummer). The collar fall's stitch pattern and the location of bobbles near the breast pocket match the jacket to the one seen on screen.

The single-breasted linen suit jacket has dual side flap pockets; a breast pocket; front darts; and a centre back seam. There are four buttons at the front and two at the cuffs. The inside of the jacket exhibits the labels "M Berman Ltd" and "Royal Shakespeare Theatre". A button is missing from each cuff, there is some red staining at the hem, and there is a small hole in the right cuff.

Estimate: GBP 1000 - 2000 M
