LEGEND OF THE SEEKER (2008 - 2010) - Darken Rahl's (Craig Parker) Hero Sword and Scabbard

Darken Rahl's (Craig Parker) hero sword and scabbard from the fantasy series Legend of the Seeker. A ruthless tyrant who sought to control the Midlands, Rahl used his sword throughout the series, notably during duels with the heroic Richard Cypher (Craig Horner). Originally purchased from Parker's personal collection, this custom-made hero sword is purported to be the only one the actor used, as no stunt or backup swords were made by production.

The sword comprises a steel blade and an intricately engraved copper hilt. It comes with a red leather scabbard featuring a golden embossed design, leather straps and Parker's autograph in black pen on the back. Accompanying the lot is a photograph of Parker holding the sword, and a lengthy handwritten letter inscribed to "the new owner of the sword of Rahl", and confirming it as the "One & Only" sword used throughout the production. Parker has signed both in black pen. The sword exhibits minor areas of green oxidisation on the hilt, and there are coffee stains on the letter. Dimensions (sword): 98 cm x 15 cm x 4 cm (38 1/2" x 6" x 1 1/2")
