THE LAST CASTLE (2001) - General Irwin's (Robert Redford) Ring and Dog Tags, and Three Production Chairbacks

General Irwin's (Robert Redford) ring and dog tags and three production chairbacks from Rod Lurie's action drama The Last Castle. Irwin wore his ring and dog tags throughout the film as he experienced and opposed the corruption within the military prison, The Castle.

This lot consists of a large ornate metal signet ring with a red plastic gem in the centre and two dog tags, each featuring two aluminium tags with rubber rims linked to silver-tone metal ball chains. Each tag is embossed with Irwin's name, service number and blood type. Accompanying these are three green canvas chairbacks that feature the film's title printed in yellow on one side and the names " James Gandolfini", "Rod Lurie" and "Delroy Lindo" on the other. The ring's metal has darkened from age, and the chairbacks exhibit areas of fading and discolouration. Dimensions: (chairback) 56cm x 17cm x 1cm (22" x 6 3/4" x 1/4") (ring) 2.5cm x 2.5cm x 2cm (1" x 1" x 3/4")
