THE KING'S MAN (2021) - The Shepherd's (Matthew Goode) SFX and Hero Gunswords and Scabbard

The Shepherd's (Matthew Goode) SFX and hero gunswords and scabbard from Matthew Vaughn's action spy film The King's Man. The Shepherd used his sword during the climactic showdown with Orlando Oxford (Ralph Fiennes) and Shola (Djimon Hounsou), and it featured a gun barrel hidden in the hilt.

The hero sword's blade and gun barrel are made of aluminium, while its hilt is bronze with a wooden grip. It is accompanied by a leather scabbard which has been altered to fit the gun barrel. The SFX sword is made of hard rubber and is hand painted. The blade tip has been removed and orange tape is placed on the end as reference for the visual effects team. The SFX blade has some spotting and wear to the paintwork, and the hero blade has some sticky residue on the hilt. Dimensions (hero sword): 94 cm x 15.5 cm x 9.5 cm (37" x 6" x 3 3/4")
