THE JAMES BOND: WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH (1999) - Peter Nelson Collection: King Industries Construction Hat and Binder

A King Industries construction hat and binder from Michael Apted's Bond film The World is Not Enough. Construction hard hats were worn by the workers on Electra King's oil pipeline in Azerbaijan.

This white plastic hard hat (size 53-61cm) features a large "K" decal on the front and a "King Industries" decal on the back. The accompanying red plastic ring binder has a cover titled "The Caspian Pipeline Project" and includes 32 printed pages detailing information on the project. The lot exhibits scuffing, dirt marks and edge wear from production use and age. Dimensions (folder): 32 cm x 26 cm x 5 cm (12 1/2" x10 1/4" x 2")

From the personal collection of Peter Nelson, previously displayed at his two museums, "The Cars of the Stars" and "The Bond Museum" in Keswick, Cumbria, until they closed in 2011.
