JAMES BOND: VARIOUS PRODUCTIONS - Peter Nelson Collection: James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) Stunt Walther P99

James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) stunt Walther P99 used in Roger Spottiswoode's Tomorrow Never Dies, Michael Apted's The World is Not Enough and Lee Tamahori's Die Another Day. The German P99 pistol was Bond's main sidearm from Tomorrow Never Dies through to Die Another Day, after which it was replaced in favour of the previously used PPK.

The black pistol is cast in foam rubber, featuring a textured grip and the manufacturer's markings. This stunt weapon would have been used for action scenes, or for scenes when the gun was holstered, for both safety and convenience. Dimensions: 17.5 cm x 15 cm x 3 cm (7" x 6" x 1 1/4")

Restricted ownership; see replica firearm notice in the Buyer's Guide.

From the personal collection of Peter Nelson, previously displayed at his two museums, The Cars of the Stars and The Bond Museum in Keswick, Cumbria, until they closed in 2011.
