JAMES BOND: OCTOPUSSY (1983) - Three SFX Snakes and Production Chest

Three SFX snakes from John Glen's Bond film Octopussy. Vijay (Vijay Amritraj) posed as a snake charmer when James Bond (Roger Moore) first arrived in India. These snakes were made for production but are not clearly seen on screen.

The three rubber cobras are hand-painted brown. They come presented inside a wooden chest on which "S/FX" is stencilled in black, with remnants of a yellow "Octopussy" sticker on the lid. Two additional smaller snakes are also included in the lot. The snakes display notable paint wear, and one snake's head has separated. The chest lid has come away from one of the hinges. Dimensions (chest): 169 cm x 30 cm x 16 cm (66 1/2" x 11 3/4" x 6 1/4")

From the personal collection of Peter Nelson, previously displayed at his two museums, "The Cars of the Stars" and "The Bond Museum" in Keswick, Cumbria, until they closed in 2011.

Special shipping required; see notice in the Buyer's Guide.
