JAMES BOND: MOONRAKER (1979) - Peter Nelson Collection: Technician Jumpsuit and Belt Buckle

A technician jumpsuit and belt buckle from Lewis Gilbert's Bond movie Moonraker. Technicians wore their jumpsuits while working for Hugo Drax (Michael Lonsdale) on his space station.

The yellow cotton jumpsuit has zips running down the torso and forearms, with a faded silver collar and piping on the pockets. Each shoulder is decorated with quilted-style epaulettes, with matching piping. The circular black acrylic belt buckle is decorated with metal detailing forming the Drax Industries logo. The lot displays several stains from use, cracking on the piping, and the stitching has come undone near one of the pockets.

From the personal collection of Peter Nelson, previously displayed at his two museums, "The Cars of the Stars" and "The Bond Museum" in Keswick, Cumbria, until they closed in 2011.

Estimate: GBP 1000 - 2000 M
