JAMES BOND: THE SPY WHO LOVED ME (1977) - Ken Adam Printed Production Design of Linear Induction Craft Signed by Adam and Roger Moore

Artwork by acclaimed production designer Ken Adam, from the production of Lewis Gilbert's The Spy Who Loved Me. Induction crafts were used to transport Karl Stromberg's (Curt Jürgens) henchmen around his Liparus supertanker.

This production copy is printed on cartridge paper. The originally pencil-sketched artwork depicts an induction craft with headlights transporting four passengers towards three Stromberg henchmen armed with guns. Adam has inscribed "Spy Who Loved Me - Super Tanker - Linear Induction Craft", while Roger Moore has written "Thank you". Both Adam and Moore have signed the piece.

The lot exhibits minor creasing. Dimensions: 66 cm x 32.5 cm x (26" x 12 3/4")

Additional Provenance:

The design was originally sold in the "Design of the Times" auction at Sotheby's in March 2003.
