JAMES BOND: THE SPY WHO LOVED ME (1977) - Peter Nelson Collection: Stromberg's Henchman Costume with Cast-autographed Jacket

A Stromberg henchman jacket and trousers from Lewis Gilbert's Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me. Stromberg's henchmen wore their uniforms throughout the film.

The jacket is made from burnt orange cotton canvas, and has a standing collar; a front zip opening; two diagonal zipped chest pockets; and black cotton trim running down the shoulder and side seams. It also features the autographs of Richard Kiel (Jaws), Caroline Munro (Naomi) and Shane Rimmer (Commander Carter). Accompanying the lot is a second burnt orange henchman jacket hand marked "97A" in black pen on the interior, and a pair of matching trousers with diagonal zipped pockets, marked "72A" and "W33 / L33".

From the personal collection of Peter Nelson, previously displayed at his two museums, "The Cars of the Stars" and "The Bond Museum" in Keswick, Cumbria, until they closed in 2011.
