JAMES BOND: ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE (1969) - Syd Cain Hand-drawn Storyboard Page

An early Syd Cain hand-drawn storyboard page from the production of Peter R. Hunt's Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Eminent art director and production designer Cain worked on many Bond films, including Dr. No and Live and Let Die. He also worked with prestigious director Alfred Hitchcock as production designer on Frenzy. Cain created these drafts - which he called "roughs" - to show the director for comments and Cain would then refine them to create the final storyboard.

The page is titled "O.H.M.S.S Roughs" and features 12 hand-drawn pencil storyboards of the scene in which Bond (George Lazenby) engaged Blofeld (Telly Savalas) in a bobsleigh chase. The page is signed by Cain in the top right corner. Dimensions: 29.5 cm x 42 cm (11 1/2" x 16 1/2")

Sold without copyright; see copyright notice in the Buyer's Guide.
