INDIANA JONES AND THE RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK (1981) - A pair of Original Roy Carnon Hand-drawn Storyboards for Indy's House and the War Office

A pair of original hand-drawn storyboards from Steven Spielberg's action-adventure film Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Each stiff white card board displays a sequence of images hand-drawn by artist Roy Carnon. One board is titled "Indy's House Sc.20" and includes eight illustrated panels depicting the arrival of Dr. Marcus Brody (Denholm Elliott) at Indiana Jones' (Harrison Ford) house, while the other board is titled "War Office Sc. 158-159" and includes six illustrated panels depicting a meeting in the war office which Brody, Indy, and Marion (Karen Allen) leave and Indy and Marion embracing in the last image. This scene set at the war office never made it into the film's film cut.

These storyboard illustrations are rendered on paper in a combination of pencils, pastels and pen, cut out and adhered to the boards. Each illustration is complete with a circular sticker noting the sequence number and a short description handwritten in black pen beneath. The boards exhibit crease lines, edgewear, and scuff marks from handling. Dimensions: (each) 64 cm x 52 cm (25 1/4" x 20 1/2")
