Field had been a friend of Bradley’s; this small poster advertises an "exquisitely Illustrated Volume Containing Sixteen of the Happiest Poems of Eugene Field” and indicates its sale will build "a suitable monument to the memory of the lamented poet.” It’s also interesting to note that the bottom text indicates that a "copy of this poster on special paper, with the artist’s autograph,” could be purchased for a solitary dollar.
