THE SHADOW (1994) - Double-Sided Hand-Painted Michael Pangrazio City View Matte Painting - A double-sided city view matte painting hand-painted by special visual effects supervisor Michael Pangrazio for Russell Mulcahy's superhero film The Shadow. Shiwan Khan (John Lone) used his psychic abilities to compel a sailor (Patrick Fischler) to jump off the Empire State Building.

This lot consists of two matte paintings rendered in mixed media on an oversize framed glass panel hand-labeled "MP 10." One depicts an overhead perspective of the Empire State Building while the other depicts a street-level view of nearby buildings. This lot exhibits notable paint marks and flaking. Dimensions: 49.5" x 61" x 0.5" (125.75 cm x 155 cm x 1.5 cm)
