RAMBO III (1988) - Gil Hibben-Signed Prototype John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) Knife - A prototype of John Rambo's (Sylvester Stallone) knife from Peter MacDonald's action sequel Rambo III signed by knifesmith and designer Gil Hibben. After his mentor Col. Trautman (Richard Crenna) was captured by Soviet forces in Afghanistan, Rambo wielded his knife on a mission to free him at any cost. Hibben created a custom bowie knife for the film, with this hand-carved wooden prototype originating from Stallone's personal collection. It is dated "1-17-87," marked "Rambo III," and signed in ink by Hibben along with annotations regarding the final weapon's design. Also included is a padded black leatherette knife case labeled "Rambo III Hibben Knives" in gold print. The wood exhibits discoloration and flaking to its varnish, and the case is punctured along its edges. Dimensions: 17" x 4" x 1" (43.25 cm x 10.25 cm x 2.5 cm)

Estimate: $3,000 - 6,000
