PROMETHEUS (2012) - Set of Three Ampules - Three ampules from Ridley Scott's sci-fi prequel Prometheus. Extraterrestrial engineers stored terraforming biochemicals in ampules which the Prometheus crew found in cavernous chambers.

Taking inspiration from delicate Roman glass, Raku pottery specialist Rob Sollis crafted three different sizes of urn for the chamber sequence, with each size represented in this set. Each consists of a lid and base constructed from hard biscuit foam dressed with resin skin, painted copper-color, and etched vertically with alien text along curved bodies. The ampules exhibit streaking and scratching throughout with chipping to the paint finish on the smallest urn. Dimensions: (largest) 31" x 11" x 11" (79 cm x 28 cm x 28 cm)

Estimate: $3,000 - 6,000 & delta;
