EXODUS: GODS AND KINGS (2014) - Moses' (Christian Bale) Battle Helmet

Moses' (Christian Bale) battle helmet from Ridley Scott's Biblical epic Exodus: Gods and Kings. Moses wore his helmet during the film's early sequences in which he fought the Hittites alongside Ramses II (Joel Edgerton).

The helmet is made of cast fibreglass painted royal blue with a fine-honed marbled finish. A gold-coloured falcon head protrudes from the front of the helmet, connecting via a central plate to an ornate, embossed, gold-coloured depiction of Horus, the falcon-headed Ancient Egyptian god, at the rear. Horus is presented with his wings splayed and features intricately detailed plumage. The helmet is finished with a gold-coloured rim and a foam-padded black suede inlay. A label inside reads "Moses". The lot has been intentionally distressed for the production but remains in very good condition. Dimensions: 31.5 cm x 18 cm x 18 cm (12 1/2" x 7" x 7")

Estimate: GBP 2500 - 5000 M
