EVIL DEAD II (1987) - Flying Production-made Deadite Head

A flying Deadite head from the production of Sam Raimi's comedy-horror sequel Evil Dead II. Deadites were parasitic demons that sought to possess the bodies of mortals and feast on their souls. A flying Deadite appeared after Ash (Bruce Campbell) was sucked through a vortex to the Middle Ages and he shot it with his shotgun.

This head was used by the production team to test makeup and adjust the final design. It is made of foam latex and exhibits a sunken, angular face, a protruding nose, pointed ears and wispy white hair. The Deadite is frowning and baring its teeth in anger. White and grey paint is applied to the piece to reinforce its ghost-like, otherworldly appearance. The lot exhibits minor fissures and paint wear, but it remains in good condition. Dimensions: 26 cm x 23 cm x 20 cm (10 1/4" x 9" x 8")

Estimate: GBP 800 - 1600 M
