DUNE (T.V. MINISERIES, 2000) - P. H. Moriarty Collection: Daggers, P.H. Moriarty Autographed Scripts and Production Paperwork

Collection of daggers, P. H. Moriarty autographed scripts and production paperwork from the production of the sci-fi mini-series Dune. Various blades were used throughout the series, including the Fremens' crysknives - curved blades made from the teeth of sandworms. This lot comes from the personal collection of actor P.H. Moriarty, who played Gurney Halleck.

The daggers comprise five metal crysknives painted to resemble bone, with leather-wrapped handles; four suede sheaths; and one slim metal dagger in a brown leather sheath. Accompanying these is a substantial collection of production paperwork, including two "Part 1" scripts, two "Part 2" scripts and three "Part 3" scripts, as well as shooting schedules, call sheets and loose script revision pages. Several script and paperwork pages feature P. H. Moriarty's autograph, extensive annotations, highlights and doodles. Areas of paint wear, page creasing and tears are present from production use and age. Dimensions (largest knife): 45 cm x 6.5 cm x 3 cm (17 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/4"); (largest script): 30 cm x 21 cm x 1.5 cm (11 3/4" x 8 1/4" x 1/2")
