Lot 0328 1893-CC Morgan $1 PCGS MS63
The Carson City Mint struck silver dollars every year from 1870 to 1893 (although in the years 1874-77, the "dollars" were Trade dollars). Coinage activity on Carson Street ended in 1893 with the inauguration of a penny-pinching administration (Grover Cleveland's).

This is an attractive Choice Mint State example with good eye appeal. Most examples of the 1893-CC Dollar are heavily bagmarked, however, this, while still revealing a few scattered marks is a wonderful improvement over what we usually see in this grade. Both sides have bright silver luster and are sharply struck barring a little weakness above the ear of Liberty and on the eagle's breast feathers.
