"Silas Hoadley" Tall Case Clock, Ca. 1820, with pine case & cherry door; Made by Silas Hoadley (1786-1870) for Hoadleyville, CT. Famous for his own designed wooden movements. This beautiful clock retains the original movement with minor repairs over the years. Signed "Hoadley Plymouth" on the painted wooden dial.

Overall blistering to original painted dial. The bonnet is in need of some repair to cracked wood. Pendulum rod & sugaraensian sprint are missing. Hands & glass are probably replaced.

Simple broken pediment crest. The base is slightly scalloped. 6' 10" tall x 1'5" wide x 9.5" deep. In old alligatored natural wood finish. Est. $800-$1,200.
