If you wish to obtain additional information on a particular lot, ScreenUsed may provide, upon request, a more detailed description than what appears in the catalog. We remind the prospective buyers that these are rare collector pieces, and all sales are final.
(ABC, 2004-2010) This Virgin Mary statue was acquired by the production for use in several episodes of the show. The Virgin Mary statues, which had bags of heroin hidden inside them, were part of Mr. Eko's plan to smuggle heroin out of Nigeria. The plane crashed on the island killing those on board and eventually the statues would come into the hands of most of the principal cast members, either helping to heal with the heroin, or making them sick, as in the case of Charlie. This plastic molded statue is painted and the base filled with plaster and distressed for use on the show. The statue stands 11.5" tall. On the Season 6 Blu-Ray extras Rob Kyker, the propmaster, can be seen showing these off and commenting that several hundred were made for production but less than 25 remained at the end of the series, including the 10 sold at auction. Terry O'Quinn (John Locke) comments that it is one of the few items that he kept from the series also.
