Original All-America Football Conference contract to bring the Los Angeles Dons to the Coliseum, dated 28 February 1945. Contract is written by Christy Walsh and Don Ameche, who co-owned the team with Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and others. Excellent details of the team's formation: ''...the Los Angeles club must have a playing site conveniently located...the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum appears to be the most logical and desirable site in this area...'' Measures 8.5'' x 11'' on 3pp., with a 1.25'' tear at top left and staple holes. Near fine.
