Polish athlete (1907–1940) who won the gold medal in the 10,000 meter event at the 1932 Summer Olympics; he was arrested by the Gestapo during the AB Action in March 1940, imprisoned in the Mokotów prison, and was executed three months later. Rare FDC with a cachet honoring the Los Angeles 1932 Summer Olympics, postmarked Los Angeles, July 30, 1932, signed on the front in black ink by Kusocinski. In fine condition.
