Kildare” stationery, Powell writes to Captain Fergusson who was murdered in the Sudan in 1927. In part: “…Thank you so much for your very kind invitation. I am sorry I have engaged myself…for the one night that I am to be in Dublin…I am so sorry to hear of…your wife's…anxiety. I hope I may see you…” One page with writing on front and verso measures 4.25'' x 7''. Separation to vertical fold, else very good.
