Included are <B>Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies</B></I> #1 (first comic book appearances of Porky Pig, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Mary Jane and Sniffles, and Pat Patsy and Pete, plus a Bugs Bunny story by early Mickey Mouse artist Win Smith), 2, #3 (Kandi the Cave Kid by Walt Kelly begins), #4 (Kelly art), #5 (Bugs Bunny the Super-Duper Rabbit -- the first funny animal super hero), 6, 7, 8, #9 (painted cover), #10 (flag cover), 11, and 12 that have been trimmed and bound into a hardcover volume. Issues #5, 6, 8, and 11 also feature Walt Kelly art. The comics are in great condition with mild to moderate wear and tanning, and some soiling to the top edges of the pages; the volume is in nice condition with heavy bumping and fraying to the corners and moderate wear and tear to the spine, but binding is otherwise secure.
