Longines Roulette Wheel Watch 14k Gold c. 1940's
This is an original authentic Longiness Roulette Wheel Pocket Watch made of 14k solid yellow gold. The watch dates to circa 1940's and would be the center of any gambling collection. The watch features a Longines Watch Co. Swiss Seventeen Jewels wind mechanism pocket watch as marked on the frame. The face is marked Longiness along with having the SWISS mark across the bottom and having gold hour marks and gold hour/minute hands along with a seconds face. At the outside of the face is a roulette wheel circle showing all of the number both in black and red painted enamel with black circle like outlines running from 1 through 36 as on a traditional roulette wheel. The roulette wheel shows a ball bearing connection to the watch which allows the wheel to freely spin allowing the users to gamble with the chain loop being the deciding factor, unlike the ball on a true roulette wheel. The back shows an alternating double set of number in both red and black 1 through 9 in painted enamel. The back of the case is marked, "14K". The watch is known to be made of all gold. Total weight of 51 grams. Unlike other models offered with show an arrow and top loop separate this very rare authentic watch shows the arrow and winning number window being paired with the watch fob loop, truly a unique and wonderful addition. One of the finest quality crafted watches from a bygone early American Gambling era. Shows a fine working condition. Measures overall 1 5/8" diameter. The original circa 1940's fidget spinner. Some examples have sold for over $7,000 in a lesser condition.
