Up for sale this one of the most rare and collectible vintage chronographs: a manually-wound solid 18K rose-gold chronograph Longines ref. #6595, produced in 1960-61, equipped with a famous column-wheel Longines 30CH fly-back chronograph caliber movement.

The watch comes in a rare and nice collectible set: with it's original crocodile Longines band, GF buckle, inner and outer boxes and a factory guarantee booklet, pictured in the listing. Don't miss your chance to get so collectible watch in such a beautiful condition, with it's original factory set!

The two-button chronograph was patented by the "Fabrique des Longines Francillon & Co S.S., St.-Imier" in 1936. As an additional function, Longines patented a very complex fly-back mechainism. When the chronograph hand was running, it could be brought back to zero directly - without stopping - by pushing a reset button. When this button was released, the chronograph hand immediately began to move again.
The vintage Longines fly-back chronographs are still considered as the best designed chronographs of all times, and are always desirable collector's pieces.
The watch comes in wonderful original condition and looks stunning, with almost no wear traces. The original multi-color complicated dial with tachymeter and telemeter scales is still nice and bright, with just minor imperfections. The original rose-gold hands and applied hour markings are still clean and bright, the large 36.5 x 46 mm heavy 18k rose-gold beautifully-shaped case is clean and sharp, very close to a new condition.

This watch is currently excellent running and keeping time, with all the chronograph functions working as it should, and is ready to wear and enjoy. The fresh service would be recommended as for all vintage watches with the unknown service history.

This highly collectible timepiece could be a next gem for your vintage chronograph's collection, being also a smart financial investment, always raising its value.
