5 1/2" barrel. .45 LC. Jack Carlton Moore (Clayton Moore) was born September 14, 1914 and died December 28th, 1999. He played "The Lone Ranger" in the television series of the same name during 1949-52 & 1953-57. He also starred in 2 films by the same producer. Mid-range 2nd generation revolver. Full nickel finish. 2 piece pearl grips. Mfg. 1967. Also includes a signed color photo of the Lone Ranger & Tonto dated 1966. A second color photo of the Lone Ranger at the 1967 Ponderosa Ranch rodeo. Requires FFL Transfer. Provenance: From the Family of Shirley M. Cavalieri of the Ponderosa Ranch. Includes letter dated January 5th, 2012. The letter states "In 1967, during one of Clayton's visits to our ranch, he gave a set of pearl handled Colt 45 revolvers to both my husband and my son. My husband took ill in the late 1990's and sold many of his most prized possessions as he wanted them to be appreciated by others the way that he enjoyed them throughout the years. I was overjoyed that you were the person who purchased them and it seems right since you were one of our regulars at our ranch and such a good friend to Donnie."
