London & South Western Railway Preece one-wire signalbox block instrument lettered "Down Signal At Dean" and bearing a brass plate "Telegraph Works Silvertown East London". Complete with its top brass 'mushroom' bell. In very good, original condition. Dean station, between Salisbury and Romsey, opened in 1847.
