London & North Western Railway tall 3-aspect Chapmans Patent HANDLAMP. The body is faintly stamped "Signal Dept. Crewe", the reducing-cone brass plated "London & North Western Railway Makers Locomotive Department Crewe". The Chapman's Patent plate is atop the chimney. Complete with an original type vessel; "LNWR" marked ceramic burner, copper lens cone and all glasses.
