Crudely etched letters with gilt on a tapered decanter with carved gingerbread patterns throughout in the glass. This bottle probably held one of the Livingston Co. of San Francisco's whiskey products. The company was in business from 1867 through 1917 and made at least five different brand name whiskeys. A separate paper label on the bottle says “this is the earliest Nevada back bar from the Exchange Saloon from Genoa from the Wes Bressi collection.” However, the bottle clearly dates to post 1900 by comparative analogy and if it had anything to do with Livingston himself it would've been Livingston’s saloon in Carson City. We take no stock in the note. Rare. State: City: Date: ID#46412
