Live AidDVD Box Set RIAA Hologram Multi-Platinum Sales Award. A multi-platinum sales award for the legendary multi-country concert event held in 1985. The event brought together pop artists of the day and yesteryear for an enormous charity relief for poor and hungry living in Africa. This award is for the four-DVD box set released in 2004.

Held at Wembley Stadium in London and JFK Stadium in Philadelphia on July 13, 1985, the event was broadcast around the world. Spearheaded by Bob Geldof (who played a set with his band the Boomtown Rats), the event brought together Queen, Led Zeppelin, the Style Council, Elton John, U2, George Michael, the Who, Phil Collins (who performed at both Wembley and JFK), Elvis Costello, Spandau Ballet, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Duran Duran, Black Sabbath, Teddy Pendergrass, Bryan Adams, Tina Turner, Bob Dylan, Sting, Paul Young, Dire Straits, and David Bowie, among others. It was an important, once-in-a-generation moment.
