One of the many posters printed by the Food Administration featuring prominent figures and quotes about saving food. This version features Abraham Lincoln, who is quoted as saying, "With malice toward none; with charity for all;...let us strive on to finish the work we are in;...to up the nation's wounds; ...to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace." A fitting quote when juxtaposed next to the need for food to be saved and sent overseas to help win the war, save the nation, and promote a lasting peace. This quote was taken directly from his Second Inaugural address on March 4th, 1865.
