<B>Lincoln & Hamlin: A Superb 1860 Jugate Campaign Ribbon.</B></I> A stunning yellow silk ribbon, with oval salt prints attached, listed as AL-3 on page 122 of Sullivan & Fischer's <I>American Political Ribbons and Ribbon Badges 1825-1981</B></I>. We have seen several examples over the years, but all have had significant condition issues and light to almost-gone images. Salt prints tend to be found very light, and although the images on the present example are a bit that way, they are well above average for the type. A couple of minor discolorations from the bleed through of the original adhesive are also typical, and can be seen on the plate example in Sullivan & Fischer as well. The ribbon itself is in great shape, marred only by being torn irregularly on the top edge.
