<B>Lincoln Friend Ira Harris Autograph Letter Signed,</B></I> one page, 8" x 13", Albany, New York, August 22, 1839, to a James Reid. The letter regards routine financial matters. Light soiling, folds. Fine condition. Ira Harris (1802-1875) was a U.S. Senator from New York. His daughter Clara and stepson Henry Rathbone were guests in the President's box at Ford's Theater on April 14, 1865 when John Wilkes Booth struck his fatal blow.
