<td width="100%">
This is a bold and beautiful Limoges hand painted plaque wonderfully decorated with a pair of fighting game cocks. The plaque measures nearly 11 1/2" top-to-bottom, is pierced for hanging, and has a terrific rococo outer edge trimmed in gold. The condition is very good-to-excellent, with no chips or cracks, a couple of tiny paint "flakes," and just a slight bit of wear to the hand painted finish and gold trim. The plaque is signed by the artist, A. Bronssillon, and stamped on the back with the George Borgdfeldt (Coronet) Mark #1, found in use from about 1906 to 1920.
