Nancy Glazier, recognized as one of North America's premier wildlife artists. is passionate about her art and the subject of her art. This passion is evident in the way she paints and the way she lives – they are inseparable. Surrounded by mountain beauty and the animals the artist loves to paint, Glazier says, “I feel a kinship with the animal that grows as the painting progresses. Glazier was mentored and taught by renown collector, artist, and Cody Museum muralist, Adolph Spohr. The artist enjoys much success as one of today’s most talented wildlife painters. Her original works are represented by one of America’s leading galleries. Her paintings have been featured at prestigious shows throughout the country, and two of her works hang in the Museum of Church History and Art in Salt Lake City. In this Giclée , the sun is setting in the West, and a small group of bachelor White-tail bucks take a moment to survey the artist. The background mountain ranges are darkening in purples and blues, with the skies behind them in hues of pink and soft orange while the foreground grasses and White-tails are reflecting the warm orange light of the sunset. Artist's signature on bottom left corner along with the limited edition numbers.
This Giclée is in very fine condition, no marring noted. The double-matted oak hardwood frame is in good overall condition, very slight scuffing noted to frame edges, no other obvious marring noted. Visible art measures 19.75"W x 33.5"L, frame is 27.5"W x 41.25"L x 1.5"D
