Limited Ed. Nancy Glazier Print No Trespassing
Featured in this lot is a limited edition print by Nancy Glazier titled, "No Trespassing" from 1990. Glazier knew she wanted to be an artist from early childhood. In her teens, she lived in Wyoming where she immersed herself in the rugged, western terrain. There she was mentored and taught by artist Adolph Spohr, who gave her private instruction and taught her how a professional uses paint and brush…how to observe and self-correct. The artist has taken hands-on anatomy classes that enable her to paint an amazingly accurate portrait of an animal from its bone structure to muscles to hair, bringing it life on her canvas. Her paintings have been featured at prestigious shows throughout the country, and two of her works hang in the Museum of Church History and Art in Salt Lake City. The print features a Common Loon landing on the banks of a lake while two Canadian Geese drift by in the background. The art shows fine attention to detail, especially in the water. The print comes in a vintage wood frame, double matted and set behind glass. The bottom right features a signature on the print reading, "N. Glazier © '90" and another hand written signature on the white border of the print reading, "N. Glazier". The bottom left of the print reads, "194/950" showing that it is a limited edition print. The print comes with a small artist bio sheet and a certificate of authenticity. The art measures 14 3/4" L x 31 1/2" W. The entire piece measures 21" L x 37 1/4" W.
