I had a severe attack of vertigo and faintness on May 10th, and was ordered to avoid all occasions of brain fatigue. I am trying to keep well for May 25th, as I am to say a few words to the Universalist Women tomorrow, but am to be fetched away immediately afterwards...Cordially yours, Julia Ward Howe May 17th, 1905. 241 Beacon St.</B></I>" The letter is in fine condition, with usual mail folds present.
